Elsa at Peace at 17 1/2 years of age

It is with sadness that I inform you that Elsa (Ravenstaff Roxys Girl CD) was put to rest on Monday at nearly 17 ½ years of age.
 

Although her heart was still strong the rest of her body was starting to fail.

 

She will be sadly missed.

RIP Elsa - sympathies to Shane, we know how you feel having said goodbye ourselves to Hugh on Sunday.

What a great innings for the "Pig"

It was a very sad day, but so glad that she didn't suffer, and got to go with dignity.

Elsa (or Piggy) brought a lot of happiness to many people. Elsa was a great companion, and a I know was loved very much by all your family... none more than your father. In later years she became known as Nurse Piggy for a friend who was suffering from illness.

May she now run free with her good mate Kosta

I will miss her too.
