TCA Trials and Events

Competing in trials and events include obedience, agility, jumping, tracking and endurance trials. To compete in these trials you must be a member of the Tasmanian Canine Association Inc (TCA Inc) and your dog must also be registered with the TCA Inc.

If you get a dog from a registered breeder your dog should already be registered, but you may need to join the TCA Inc and transfer the ownership to yourself.

If you get a dog from some other source (eg RSPCA) you can still join the TCA Inc and can put your dog on the Associate Register. Your dog must be micro-chipped and desexed before you apply to put it on the Associate Register. This will then entitle you to compete and earn titles for your dog.
